Approximately six weeks after your soap has been made it will be ready for using or giving to friends and family as gifts or presents. If your soap is just for your own use it can be left unwrapped on a shelf or in a drawer, however, if you wish to give your soap as gifts you might like to design your own way of wrapping it.
Soap can be wrapped in virtually anything - the only thing to stay away from is cling film as this will make your soap sweat and ruin it. Below I have listed a few things you can use :
Cellophane Brown paper Gift wrapping paper Corrugated paper Wax paper Cotton/material Hesian Craft paper Bags - either paper or material or small drawstring bags
You can buy already made soap boxes like the one above or even make your own. If you are good at design you can make your own labels either on your computer or by hand. Handwritten labels if done in good handwriting can look especially professional.
Other ways of packaging your soaps can be kept quite simple by tying a couple of bars together with rope, twine or ribbon. Let your imagination run riot, have a look at websites like Pinterest or Google images and you will see some brilliant ideas to use.
